At Fiamma, they take product quality very seriously, and safety is their top priority. They conduct thorough testing to ensure their products meet all global industry and regulatory standards. Unfortunately, they have identified a risk that a production batch of two of their awning bracket kits may present issues, resulting in a potential mechanical holding hazard due to a non-compliant component.

Fiamma manages all structural integrity tests according to applicable standards. The safety and well-being of their customers and their family's are of fundamental importance to them, and their policy is to take action whenever they recognise or are made aware of potential injury risks, even if the likelihood of occurrence is limited. Therefore, Fiamma has decided to carry out a voluntary recall of the Kit VW T5 / T6 98655Z156 – Kit Combi Rail Bracket 98655Z147 products placed on the market between 2023 and 2025, as per the attached notice.

At DC Leisure we also prioritise the safety of all our Customers, as such we are in the process of contacting all customers, that have either purchased any of the affected Awning Brackets through ourselves or via our sister company DC Conversions who will have had this bracket fitted.
