The Thule Lift V16 is a practical bike transport solution designed for motorhomes and caravans with vertical rear walls.

Its key function is to lower bikes closer to ground level, making loading and unloading significantly easier and more comfortable, especially for heavier bicycles such as e-bikes.

The lifting platform bridges a height difference of up to 70cm, allowing bikes to be mounted at a convenient working height before being raised securely into position for travel. Bikes are held firmly using detachable holders with Thule AcuTight torque limiter knobs, ensuring correct tightening without over-fastening, while adjustable wheel holders with pump buckle straps keep wheels stable during transport.

Once raised, the platform locks securely and remains tight against the vehicle thanks to integrated safety straps, providing stable and controlled transport on the road. It’s a well-engineered solution focused on ease of use, safety and everyday touring practicality.

Which Thule Lift is right for me?

This product is available in a manual configuration, using a crank handle to lift the carrier upwards, or a motorised configuration, allowing you to lift the bike carrier with the press of a button. The motorised version will lower in just 40 seconds. 

Which bike carrier is right for you is entirely up to personal preference. The motorised model is highly reliable and secures bikes with minimal effort, although there is more setup required to power the motorisation. The manual version does not require any wiring and is just as reliable, though the convenience of lifting your bikes at the press of a button cannot be matched.
