The Thule Step Manual 550 is a secure and quality system, featuring a convenient entrance with a step mounted under the base of the vehicle, made from lightweight anodised aluminium. As well as being visually appealing and partnered well with contemporary van designs. Reminder: This is the manual version, and is operated by hand.Conforming to both EMV and CE standards the step is operated by a rocker switch that mounts somewhere inside the motorhome's door-well.
The sensor alert is a switch for the connection of an optional warning lamp in the vehicle is supplied as standard so that you can't unknowingly drive away with the step extended. Note that the warning light itself is not supplied with the step.
